DESCRIPTION: FIRST EDITION, LIMITED ISSUE, PRESENTATION COPY. 1 vol., 7-1/4" x 5-1/2", one of 500 copies. inscribed by Stein on the front blank endleaf and dated Oct 20, 1933, original brown printed wrappers, with the original card slipcase.
CONDITION: Hinges fine, internally clean and bright, FINE, some toning to the slipcase, back corner bumped otherwise VERY GOOD+.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Inscribed shortly before she returned to America after a thirty-year absence. Scarce inscribed. RBH locate only 5 other inscribed copies in the last 50 years. This was the last of the titles printed under Stein and Toklas' Plain Edition imprint.
