Plain & Elegant, Rich & Common, Documented New Hampshire Furniture, 1750-1850. Concord: New Hampshire Historical Society, 1979. First edition soft cover. 153 pp. A catalogue of a loan exhibition of antique New Hampshire furniture from 1750-1850 held on September 29 through November 3, 1978. The book includes a history of the regions of New Hampshire furniture making and descriptions of each piece. Furniture includes chairs, desks, sideboards, high chest of drawers, tall clocks, bookcases and a nightstand that converts to a commode. Great reference. NPT Books a division of N.P.
