DESCRIPTION: ILLUSTRATED BY EDMUND DULAC. 1 vol., 11" x 9", illustrated with 23 tipped in color plates by Edmund Dulac, captioned tissue guards, all leaves with decorative gold borders, bound in fine full blue morocco, ribbed gilt decorated spine, covers ruled and paneled in gilt, recessed panel to front cover reproducing the illustration facing p.176 "The Prince is taken back to the Golden Palace by the Magic Black Horse" from The Story of the Three Calenders in a slightly 2 dimensional multicolor morocco onlays, pale blue silk doublures and endpapers, gilt dentelles, bookplate to front endpaper, all edges gilt, housed in a blue cloth open ended slipcase, by Bayntun-Riviere.
