Eastern European binoculars from the Cold War, 1950s The TZK binoculars were made in Poland, the Czech Republic and Russia.
Optical quality is excellent: perfectly clear presentation, sharp contrast, crystal clear image. In the original brace of polished aluminum on a matching wooden tripod. Tripod is of later date and of Swiss make. The inside of the binoculars has been professionally cleaned, the outside smoothly polished. These binoculars were used in anti-aircraft guns to track enemy aircraft and often as observation binoculars
Main features of this Russian TZK 10x80-45 degree binoculars are:
A magnification of 10x80mm which offers an extensive view.
Eyepieces which are at an angle of 45 degrees to the optical axis of the objective lenses, which ensures optimum viewing comfort.
The light path of the monocular is deflected at an angle of 45 degrees, which facilitates strategic observations.
Wide-angle eyepieces with comfortable eye relief and diopter adjustments, which are effortlessly suitable for glasses wearers.
A wide field of view of 7 degrees, with an eye relief of 17mm
