About the Item

Atlas Copco Model 510–8 Speakers * Baffle enclosure * Second grille to enable bi-directional sound dispersion * Standard 8 inch loudspeakers * Enclosure made from satin brushed aluminum The sticker that is located on the underside of the speaker indicates that this product was made in a unionized factory. The union in question was the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) which had its beginnings in 1891. The logo depicting a clenched fist with 16 thunderbolts was used on their stickers between 1916-1952. In 1953 the number of thunderbolts changed. We can therefore infer that these speakers were manufactured, in our estimation probably between the late 1940’s and 1952. The speakers are in very good condition with very minor wear to them DIMENSIONS: Diameter of aluminum enclosure: 9.5 in. Height: 10 in. Depth: 5 in. SHIPPING NOTE: Please request a shipping quote from us since the quote provided by 1stDibs is insufficient and consistently incorrect.
