About the Item
An old school nautical instrument used on the bridge of the ship. A steel body with bakelite and brass turning knobs at the top. The Captain would chart the course and enter the coordinates in the box by turning the knobs at the top to advance the numbers. This way the helmsman taking over know the course setting. A rare and unusual find in a non-digital world.
