About the Item

Turn of the century solid brass yacht binnacle. Pedestal base design with great detail on the graduated column and flange footed base. The hood has a hinged door with viewing port. The bowl holds a gimballed compass from American maker Kelvin and Wilfred o White of Boston and New York. The interior has been fitted with warm lighting. An awesome display piece, mounted to a wood base with carved rope detail. Weight: 42"H x 22"W x 22"D Overall Dimensions: 80 lbs Made: America Material: Brass Date: 1900.
