About the Item

Exceptional ships binnacle by James Morton Limited of Sunderland. This is the “Capitalize Morabiton” model. A clinometer is fitted into the mermaid’s waist style compass shroud. The original compass hangs from davits inside. Varnished base with detailed molding on base. Iron compensating balls on brass brackets. This rare maritime collectible has been meticulously restored.
