About the Item
An original ship's chrome porthole window converted to coffee table or side table. The keys unscrew to open the window. The base has been designed to come apart and is an original design by Deborah Lockhart Phillips. The brass rivets along the top have been replaced as these pop out when taken off the ship, circa 1970s (the window that is).
The Lockhart Collection is a personally curated gallery of antiques and fine jewelry, owned and operated by Deborah Lockhart Phillips. The antiques and vintage pieces encompass Nautical Artifacts & Instruments, Art Deco and Mid-Century Modern Furniture and Lighting, British Campaign furniture, and of course the finds that simply defy being categorized. The Lockhart Collection is a notable and trusted resource for many interior designers and movie production companies. An affinity for the sea, spirit of adventure, a discerning eye and a belief in keeping life interesting, informs her style and therefore the collection.
