This beautifully hand carved, antique Gothic bible stand dates from circa 1890-1910 and it is entirely made of solid oak. This unique church relic is in superb condition and it stands as strong and stable as the day it was made. You will hardly ever find an antique church bible stand with such an abundance of top quality, hand carved elements. The first thing that stands out is the amazing quatrefoil symbol (with the cross inside) in the center of this stand. The Gothic leaf patterns in all four corners are mint and stunning as well and the fact that this antique church relic is easy to fold also makes it suitable for traveling purposes or for wall mounting. The hand-painted, gilt parts are there to accentuate the design of this rich and meaningful ecclesiastical antique. The large and 20 pound weighing antique bible that you can see in two of our images show you how strong this stand is.
