About the Item
Italian tabernacle from the last quarter of the 17th century made in: mercury-gilt bronze, silver, enamel and ebony-
This spectacular tabernacle due to its quality and rarity is a museum piece.We can highlight the quality of the chiselled and gilt bronze , delicate enamels that have an impressive transparency and color and all the other details
It has a side push button that opens the door automatically using a spring when pressed. Inside
The image of the virgin mary with the child jesus And that there is a cloud around them where the child jesus ??Is playing with san juanito all around angels.
In the upper part there is the monogram of the ave maria and two kneeling angels praying
On the door there is a silver shield engraved with the initials: am which corresponds to the person who ordered it (unknown) . It is in excellent state of preservation ,similar pieces can be found at:
