A rustically produced 19th century glazed specimen box containing wheat and grain hybrids. The pine hinged box opens to reveal two glazed and segmented sections, with a painted blue interior and hand penned labels for each wheat & grain specimen. Likely put together by a farmer to showcase his produce, age related wear and abrasions Box when closed measures 22/16/6cm
