A round mid-century Sunburst / Starburst wall-mounted weather station from the 1950s, crafted by Lufft Germany, a renowned maker of precision instruments. This high-quality and premium device is designed for accurate weather forecasting and features both a thermometer and an aneroid barometer, enabling the measurement of temperature and atmospheric pressure. The piece is solid and substantial, with a stunning sunburst-style housing crafted from gilt brass. Its design includes a beautifully textured dial protected by a domed glass cover. The weather station is in very good working condition and displays the hallmark of craftsmanship and quality for which Lufft is known. The dial is signed "Lufft" for authenticity.
