Antique Lungers Hausen German Set of 10 Child's Toy Nesting Blocks or Boxes

About the Item

This child's toy set of nesting blocks or boxes was m fade by Lungers Hausen of Germany in approximately 1920 in the period Art Deco style. The blocks or boxes are constructed of wood which has been covered with vibrant and colorful lithographed paper images of nursery rhymes, animals and children playing. The graduated set can be configured in numerous ways, but when stacked reach over fifty inches in height. The nesting boxes fit completely within themselves and all reduct down to a single box. The large st box is clear signed "Lungers Hausen" in the bottom right corner.
