    Girard, Barrere, and Thomas Paris manufactured this impressive terrestrial light-up globe in the 1950s. Geographer J. Forest designed it. This library glass globe is covered with print paper rotating on a chromed metal and aluminum stand. Besides regular countries' maps, there are ocean currents and the main trade routes of the period. The electricity elements were updated to fit US standards. The lamp is in perfect working condition (check pic 2 and 3 with on and off lights).
