About the Item

A superb-looking late 19th-century Anglo-Indian trunk with original ribbed iron fittings, brass-bound with decorative mounts, and carrying handles. Traditionally used as patio storage in Indian havelis, it could be used as a stunning decorative coffee table or side table. The early timbers have a rich color and patination. This trunk has become a rarity as there are very few left that can still be sourced. A bold and decorative statement for a variety of interiors. The dimensions are: Height 56cm (22.0in) Width 80cm (31.5in) Depth 49cm (19.3in)
