Italian Travertine Coat Tree
About the Item
Unique large coat rack with practical built-in umbrella stand.
This wonderful piece came from a large 20th Century Modern villa in Sicily, Italy.
The owner was an avid collector of Italian design by Tobia Scarpa, Gio Ponti, Achile Castiglioni and others. We haven't found another example of this coat rack in any of the Italian design magazines or books we have unfortunately.
This well designed and practical piece is really an eye-catcher and can complement any Mid-Century Modern architectural interior.
