Antique Cast-Iron Hand-Form Hat Rack with 4 Turned Wood Spokes

About the Item

Wall mounted hat or coat hook formed as a cast-iron hand clenched in a fist holding four turned mahogany spokes. Possibly originating from a fraternal lodge where it was used to hold ceremonial robes. A large screw is fitted at the wrist making an invisible mount. Spokes with minor chips to some turnings. Now on a custom display stand, height without the stand 12.25", with stand 16.5".
