About the Item
Circa 1900-1909 expandable hat or coat rack from France. The rack is turned from cherry and has three hand turned hat hangers at the top, over seven hooks below for coats or other hangable items. The rack as shown measures 38 w x 6.75 d x 17 h. When closed, the rack measures 6.5 w x 7 d x 22 h. These accordion racks are very useful in any room of the house or office. They add a bit of French charm and usefulness in any room in which they are placed.
