About the Item

Late 19th century oak umbrella or cane stand from England. This is a lovely umbrella stand, made solidly from nice English oak. The back legs are simple, to allow for easy placement against a wall, and the front legs are carved with embellishments to add "just enough" decoration to make it wonderfully interesting! the legs are joined by a tray at the base, which is lined with metal to catch the drips from wet umbrellas or walking sticks. These are so practical for any home or office!
