Beautiful Antique Pillow Hand made incorporating a Very Rare late 16th Century Embroidered Panel Italian Renaissance work , most likely Florence Exquisitely embroidery using coloured silks and predominately Gold , Silver metal threads worked entirely my hand upon a Crimson Silk Velvet ground Finished with rarest 16th century Silk tassel fringe incorporating the most sublime passementerie Edged with antique silver metallic braid Backed with 18th century French Silk Lampas This extremely rare museum worthy Renaissance panel would have been part of a Pelmet / Valance for an opulent bed in a Noble family Palazzo This exceptional panel is approx Four Hundred years old and of course shows signs of this immense age Untouched , time worn condition Please study photographs as they do for a very important part of the description SIZE 24 inches x 16 inches (60cm x 41cm) PLEASE NOTE.
