About the Item
This long shallow Turkmen tentbag has a thick and meaty handle. As the main design it uses a variant of the so-called ‘chuval gul’ with the ‘chemcheh’ minor, so popular among the Yomut Turkmen. While certainly not the oldest of the type, it is a good antique example in a very good state of preservation.
