Antique Tientsin Chinese Rug with Tan Field and Allover Chinese Motives

About the Item

The beige-tan field is literally packed with Chinese motives including peacocks on polychrome rocks, grasses, precious objects, ribbons, a central gazebo within a tree, rock and wave wreath, etc. Pictorial vignettes, including houses and boats occupy the medium blue border. Inner ecru border with coins and arabesque fragments. Thick pile, good condition. Rug Size 9'2x11'7
