Chinese Peking Rug Light Blue
About the Item
This is an antique Chinese Peking Rug woven during the beginning of the 20th century circa 1900 and measures 250 X 175 CM. It has all over field design with a larger center Medallion made up of connected floral motifs. The other motifs spread throughout the field are made up of blossoming branches and traditional Chinese designs which are set on a light blue background color. The border of this drug is highly unique and has an extremely intricate geometric design. This rug is in overall good condition with some areas of wear that are consistent with its age.
