Collectible antique vintage Moroccan shag rug in excellent condition. Handmade in Chichaoua, Morocco by artisanal craftsmen. This is a solid rich red carpet that has infinite variation in the dying, giving it a captivating effect, especially in natural light. It is an authentic Berber piece with fringe on one end. It is made of handspun wool from sheep in the high mountains. This rug has a thick shag of lustrous soft wool with dense pile and solid structure. The glossy wool and saturated red color give this rug a captivating effect. In excellent condition for its age and is a fine collectible rug. A one of a kind, unique handmade carpet. Perfect for contemporary use, whether in a midcentury modern space or a contemporary interior. Also could be used as a tapestry or wall hanging.
