About the Item

Small, simply elegant scatters and mats are among the most appealing of antique Bakshaiesh-Heriz work, Measures: 2'8" x 4'6". The old ivory, totally open, hexagonal field is edgers with tiny flowers and is set within zig-zag patterned rust-red and blue corners. Matching plain outer surround with a dark brown rosette and profile bud meander inner border. Good condition.
