:: Highly expressive and nuanced covered field with serrated floral leaves, palmettes, cloud band-like vines, and an unusually vivid and almost translucent-like clarity to shades. Colors and shades include: Deep ruby red grapefruit, raspberry red, deep teal, dark lime green gold, powder blue, sky blue, ivory, beige, sand, and more. Condition notes: Even, short pile height across. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Period correct painted example. Carpet is showing small white knot heads scattered across main field. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Sarouk rug made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 4'1" x 6'3".

:: Repeating covered field in a paisley boteh design motif, arranged in staggered rows and columns, each facing the same direction, and each with its own interior germinating plant. Corner spandrel overlays in a Herati design motif, with main border in a meandering vine and floral cross view design motif. Very fine in weave, likely in private holding for the majority of its life given the unusual level of crisp and like new even pile height across the vast majority of the weaving less some light edge wear. Colors and shades include: Saffron yellow, sky blue, navy blue, terracotta, sandalwood, coffee brown, platinum, mallard green, dusty bronze, copper, and more. Condition notes: Even original pile height across. Original side cord selvages intact. Fully secured sides and ends.
