:: Double center medallion in hexagonal contour with oversized palmette minor medallions at either opposing end atop a field of colorful germinating plants with layered leaves in polychromatic fill. Pinwheel design elements in simplistic geometric flowers, buds, and botehs. Colors and shades include: Brick red, indigo blue, dusty saffron yellow, aubergine, blush, rose, jade green, dusty teal, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile, knot heads and foundation. Fully secured sides and ends. Original macrame and wrapped fringe ends fully intact with cotton side cord selvage showing only minor fraying. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Northwest Persian rug runner made in Persia circa 1910's vintage. Size measures 2'11" x 8'10".

Fantastic drawing in large scale, with excellent rendering of balance between positive / neutral spacing and extremely harmonious color palette. Colors and shades include: Pale yet saturated brick / rust / terracotta, celadon green, navy blue, sky blue, ivory and more. Wrapped by a meandering vine inner and outer border in inverted coloration and a main border in a sharp serrated leaf design motif. :: Repeating single center column medallions in geometric format with serrated interior blossoms. Unique artistic merit throughout with minor asymmetry found in the contour and design relief as well as unpatterned inverted color fills. Excellent abrashes throughout, especially those found in the powder and sapphire blue shades. Great gem-like green tone and unusual size and proportions for type and age. Colors and shades include: Madder root red, sky blue, powder blue, gold, jade green, beige, chocolate brown, sand, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile, knot heads and foundation. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Tatter to ends. Loss to both ends. Some mending to side cord selvage. There is a slight size differential with one end measuring 2'3" in some areas as opposed to 2'6", within normal margins for type and age. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use!
