:: Allover covered field in oversized herati motif featuring rare abundance of pale green. Fantastic drawing in large scale, with excellent rendering of balance between positive / neutral spacing and extremely harmonious color palette. Colors and shades include: Pale yet saturated brick / rust / terracotta, celadon green, navy blue, sky blue, ivory and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with light isolated areas of foundation showing through. Mostly secure end, tatter to other, light tatter to either side. Slightly more narrow on one end measuring 5', as opposed to the other measuring 5'5", although based on length, type and genre, within typical margin of +/- variation. Wrapped by a meandering vine inner and outer border in inverted coloration and a main border in a sharp serrated leaf design motif. Colors and shades include: Navy blue, cobalt blue, burgundy wine red, sky blue, mallard green, sand, gold, dusty pale forest green, jade green, ivory, pale raspberry red and more. Unique artistic merit throughout with minor asymmetry found in the contour and design relief as well as unpatterned inverted color fills. Excellent abrashes throughout, especially those found in the powder and sapphire blue shades. Great gem-like green tone and unusual size and proportions for type and age. Colors and shades include: Madder root red, sky blue, powder blue, gold, jade green, beige, chocolate brown, sand, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile, knot heads and foundation. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Tatter to ends. Loss to both ends. Some mending to side cord selvage.
