This beautiful Persian Bidjar carpet has 400,000 knots per square meter. It is a beautiful and typical example of a Bidjar carpet. Unlike the rugs of other nomadic peoples, the structure of a Bidjar makes it one of the strongest types of Persian rugs. Vivid colors and artistic motifs are used in the design. The weavers are free to interpret the patterns, which means that the carpets are truly unique. The colors used in this region are turquoise, blue and red, while the carpet is decorated with a medallion in the shape of a diamond surrounded by a herringbone pattern or recurring floral motif.
