About the Item
Although quite worn, the colors are still strong, including a navy, mustard, aubergine, teal and tomato madder red ground which displays a central pole medallion of fringed, square motives enclosing lobed panels in camel and ivory. The ivory wedgie shoe ("dragon") border also features a powder blue and light red. The condition is shabby chic, but this NW Persian antique runner has great artistic integrity.
