Early 1900s Farahan Runner

About the Item

This well-woven west Persian village kenare shows a natural dye palette featuring a navy indigo field with diagonal unidirectional rows of botehs on conforming vines, in a geometric rendering of the popular “Staghorn” design. Very wide red border with rosettes and “Tangerine flower” modules of florets on a diagonal stem. Pale blue outer minor border. Good condition. 2'9x14'2.
