About the Item

A tall navy medallion with a strong ecru octogramme Sub-medallion, with small shield pendants, is placed on the flesh tone field with a four-fold swirl of small leaves and floral sprays. A chain of slate turtles run along the outer edge of the field. Main border of navy squares enclosing cartouches, some with cypresses. Sivas carpets owe much to Tabriz sources.
