Tappeto Mood Persiano lana e seta. Interamente annodato a mano. I tappeti Mood, provenienti dalla omonima città a sud dell'Iran, rappresentano magistrali esempi della alta tradizione artigianale dei tappeti persiani. Questo Mood è un esemplare particolarmente suntuoso nei disegni e nella qualità. I fiori all'interno delle singole formelle sono impreziositi da pura seta che impreziosiscono sia i singoli riquadri che il tappeto nel suo insieme. La cornice è finemente lavorata con disegni estremamente precisi e delicati. I colori nelle sfumature del mattone, degli aranciati con presenza di verde acqua lo rendono particolarmente pregevole e raffinato. Il disegno all over prende in prestito lo schema a formelle tipico sia dei Mood che dei Backtiary. Ogni quadrato è caratterizzato da una variante del motivo Herati, uno degli schemi più classic ed apprezzati della iconografia Persiana. Il motivo Herati è composto da un fiore circondato da foglie di acanto, o motivi campestri.
