Vintage Persian Hand-Knotted gallery or room size rug from the Shiraz region of Western Persia circa the early 1900s. The tribal design rug, similar to Qashqai rugs, comes with traditional three vertical medallions which is “Shiraz Signature” pattern. The use of cream color in the medallions on a rust or a maroon field makes the design stand out. The use of the tree and animal forms throughout the field is a signature design of the tribal weaver of this region. The classical design and luminous, resilient wool quality of this outstanding vintage Persian Kashan carpet create an impression of consummate refinement.
