This vintage 5x14 Persian Kilim is a tribal gallery runner believed to originate in the Karadagh region.
Handwoven in wool circa 1950-1960, its design favors a clean approach to traditional geometric patterns and particularly rich colors. Keen eyes will note an especially present burgundy, black and orange tones, and a midnight blue accent in the series of medallions.
