Vintage Persian Kilim Runner in Polychromatic Geometric Patterns by Rug & Kilim

About the Item

This vintage 3x12 Persian Kilim runner is handwoven in wool and originates circa 1950-1960. This Kilim is believed to hail from Meshkin—a small village known for its craft among what connoisseurs call "Northwest" Persian rugs. Further on the Design: The rug enjoys a polychromatic colorway that favors light pink and green with rich red and brown notes as well. Its geometric patterns and borders are sharply woven, and the whole look is one of comfortable, rustic charm. This mid-century runner is exemplary among Northwest Kilims in its period, and further enjoys good condition therein.
