Hand-knotted in wool, this 9x12 Swedish rug from our “High” texture named for its high-and-low approach to Swedish patterns features geometric patterns inspired by Swedish Deco sensibilities of the mid-20th century.

Keen eyes will further admire the marriage of the high-low texture to the geometry and its fabulous complement to the movement and graphic nature of such a modern piece. This is an autumnal piece in its beauty, though no one could deny that the choice of colors evokes a particular sense of vintage chic either way—warm, rich, and rustic tones of fall The field enjoys rich white accents and beige-brown, gold and red tones underscore geometric patterns inspired by the Swedish deco and mid-century modern style.
