Customizable Handmade Rug After Sabine Oecking's "Joy and Life 11" – Sustainable Luxury with Artist’s Signature
Size: 150 x 180 cm (5 x 6 ft). Further sizes, also bespoke, available.
Quality: Hand knotted, 150 knots per square inch.
Over 620 000 handmade knots required to create this custom rug.
Material: fine New Zealand wool and silky, plant-based Tencel.
The tencel in higher pile creates soft color drops that are elevated from the surface. It creates a tactile and visual experience that is a joy to the senses.
Colors: 16 custom-dyed colors. Main colors of the rug are 8 shades of blue in New Zealand wool (from turquoise to cadet blue, cornflower and powder blue), as well as golden yellow, pink and crimson red in tencel.
Numbered limited edition of only 10 fine handmade rugs with this art piece. Hand-signed label by the artist.
Sustainable and certified fair-trade artisanal production. Label Step fair-trade partners.
This beautiful rug can also be ordered in even more luxurious materials like pure silk or mohair. A combination of materials is possible as well. Production time may increase for these options, depending on material availability.

Mondrian was best known for this type of abstract painting in which he limited his palette to the primary colors and black, adding gray here as well. Thick, black vertical and horizontal lines delineate the outlines of the rectangles of color.
