Matteo Pala's story is a family affair, a passion and experience that oscillates between tradition and experimentation, a fascination for faraway lands and a continuous search for personal and customizable solutions, a center that specializes in rug design, creation and care.
From the collaboration with Matteo Pala comes the project of city carpets, where Frank&Frank narrates the excitement of worldview through a passion for designing city maps, which are transformed into rugs, design objects, leather maps to hang on the wall, for any kind of environment: home, office, hotel, etc.
Marcella Molinini and Roberto De Gregorio believe in the fascination of cartography and cultivate this mission from their many years of experience and expertise in fashion and visual design.
They reinterpret urban maps as creatures, geometries, colors, labyrinths, cultures and urban spaces as bearers of emotions, opening up new perspectives on the places in which we live.

Il progetto Frank&Frank racconta l'emozione della visione del mondo attraverso la passione per la progettazione di mappe urbane in pelle uniche e su misura per qualsiasi tipo di ambiente: casa, ufficio, hotel, ecc. Marcella Molinini e Roberto De Gregorio credono nel fascino della cartografia e coltivano questa missione partendo dalla loro pluriennale esperienza e competenza nel campo della moda e del visual design. Sempre curiosi e appassionati, reinterpretano le mappe urbane come creature, geometrie, colori, labirinti, culture e spazi urbani come portatori di emozioni, aprendo nuove prospettive sui luoghi in cui viviamo. Mappe urbane incise al laser su pelle; la città vista come un'opera d'arte geometrica dove vita quotidiana e arte si incontrano, rendendo ogni pezzo numerato, unico e irripetibile. I pellami, incisi con tecnologie laser, provengono da tutto il mondo e non rientrano nel tipico circuito industriale della pelletteria: ciò sarebbe lontano dalla loro filosofia e sensibilità. Con questo progetto di interior design unico, sono quotidianamente guidati dalla curiosità, dalla passione e dal desiderio di dare carattere e bellezza agli ambienti in cui viviamo. Il loro showroom si trova nel cuore della Torino romana e il nome del marchio si ispira a un film onirico di uno dei più famosi registi finlandesi.
