18th Century Carved Oak Celtic Wainscot Chair This Handsome Chair, has a magnificent patina, it has a solid plank seat, turned legs and carved arm rests. The decorative high throne back is deeply carved with the traditional Celtic design patterns This magnificent chair would be at home by the fire in the main hall, but a piece with such superb quality carving such as this has a stand alone country house quality The chair is in good condition for its age it has some very old repairs but the chair has been well cared for during its long life, and the years of polishing have given it a fantastic natural patina The Chair is 46” high it is 23” wide and 23” deep TVY25
