19th Century Hand Carved Hepplewhite Armchair Desk Chair

About the Item

Elegant and graceful hand carved mid-19th century shield back Hepplewhite armchair. The dark mahogany frame is expertly carved all along the frame. The corners have rosettes with tapered reeded legs. The seat is an hourglass coil spring construction and newly covered in a Classic satin stripe fabric. Exceptional detail and beautiful lines well made and in very good condition.
