Antique reclining library chair This Antique reclining library chair was made circa 1860. A rare design that allows you to set the angle of the back as you sit back. You sit in the seat and then push backwards; this allows the back to move until you are in the perfect position for your needs. Under the seat hidden in the front frame is the storage for the leather rest that pulls out to reveal the leather stool, that then lifts into place to provide the support. The mahogany frame of a high-grade with the superb light brown tan buttoned back and seat. The grade 1 leather has been hand dyed by our specialist, who then with tremendous skill ages it. You would not know it is not the original leather and now is ready to give another 100 years’ service. This Antique reclining library chair has sabre front legs with large brass square cup castors. It is bound to stir much interest with your family and friends, as they wonder at the amazing mechanism and how it works so smoothly.
