About the Item

Set of two Art Deco armchairs designed by famous Jindrich Halabala in 1930s in Czechoslovakia. One of his iconic models, H269. The armchairs have been professionally restored, reupholstered and all the foam and internal upholstery has been replaced, while original springs seating construction remained in original condition. This set has been reupholstered with high-quality fabric from KVADRAT brand – „Sisu” is a checked upholstery designed by the celebrated designer Nanna Ditzel, which links to the iconic textile Hallingdal she created for Kvadrat in 1965. The textile is woven with thick, voluminous woollen yarns and features a bold yet subtle, checked pattern. The wooden elements have been cleaned and refinished with wax that gave them natural and smooth finishing touch. The armchairs are very comfortable and ready for everyday use. Please get in touch with us for any questions you may have about this item’s condition, authenticity, or any questions in general. We’re happy to help.
