About the Item

The Audio Chair ( Single edit) Designed and produced in Leipzig, Germany. Autobiographically inspired. Composed of over 200 compact discs. Adventuring 30 years of music. The origin of all my future crimes. Using my personal CD collection oft he last three decades to build this chair is a wild experience! Beaming me into memories and feelings i was not expecting The power of music is incredible! The chair is handcrafted in my Leipzig studio. The construction underneath the Compact Disc layer is 10mm plywood. 216 CDs of my personal collection are then properly glued tot he construction. The condition oft he CDs is, of course, used. So little cracks are unavoidable! Along with the chair comes a QR code leading to a spotify playlist with 216 songs. 216 favorite songs of each CD.
