Baroque Armchairs, Mid-18th Century

About the Item

A pair of baroque armchairs with black frames, featuring gilded carved decorations in the form of shells and rocailles. The chairs stand on elegant capriole legs that seamlessly merge into the curved frame. The recessed armrests are upholstered and end in volutes. The backrest, with a curved frame and additional carved decorations, complements the overall design. The chairs have been carefully reupholstered in a gold-colored fabric with fine baroque-style embroidery
