About the Item
Armchair, leather and walnut, Denmark, 1940s.
This dining chair has incredible sensuous details. This is for instance visible in the swirling armrests or the tapered and curved legs. The lines in the chair are very sharp whereas the forms in themselves are organic, which balances out the design perfectly. Overall, an exquisite piece of craftsmanship. The brown slightly red leather has aged perfectly and therefore shows a warm patina.
Kindly note that this piece is in used condition and shows sings of age and wear. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsmen and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece contains its value and is ready for the many years to come.
