Royal House Antiques Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this rare original 19th century English hand carved from solid oak Wainscot armchair circa 1850 with hidden drawer in the seat base Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, it covers within the M25 only for the UK and local Europe only for international, if you would like an accurate quote, please send me your postcode and I’ll provide you with the exact price. A highly decorative and original piece depicting what looks like serpent dragons to the top with floral detailing below, the chair has a wonderfully original timber patina which has aged magnificently over the decades and nearly centuries! As mentioned it has a large single hidden drawer in the base which opens to the left The chair is exactly as you wish to find in, its held together with dowel nails. We have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, it is exactly as it should be. Dimensions Height:- 131cm Width:- 68cm Depth:- 63cm Seat height:- 50cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask.
