The chair comes complete with the original Fritz Hansen stamp which dates the piece to July 1968 The original leather hide had faded back to the pre dyed colour, as such I sent them to my leather polisher who was trained by Ralph Lauren when they rolled out their “at home” division across Europe, Ralph taught him how to restore and colour old leather using traditional techniques.
