This very rare and highly collectible pair of stained oak armchairs by Charles Rohlfs (1853–1936) featuring saddle seats and faceted pegs. Both chairs are signed with his cypher mark and dated 1904, interestingly, one chair has two cypher signatures. Priced as a pair. Ideal chairs for a collector, investor or connoisseur of fine art and design. Also an excellent choice for an interior designer working on an important project. ABOUT CHARLES ROHLFS: Charles Rohlfs (1853–1936) was an American furniture designer and craftsman renowned for his unique contributions to the Arts and Crafts movement in the early 20th century.
